Budget Town Hall with Councillor McMahon – Jan 9th

Councillor McMahon is hosting a Budget Town Hall to hear what you think about the 2013 City of Toronto Budget.

Come out and learn about how your tax dollars are being spent and let the Councillor know what you want your City to invest in.

The Budget Town Hall will be held at  Malvern Collegiate Library @ 7pm on January 9th

Planning 101 Presentation

Councillor McMahon organized a planning education workshop for residents in Ward 32 last year. The following presentation entitled Planning 101 was used by city staff to explain how the planning process works in Ontario and the specific implications for our neighbourhood. Councillor McMahon is committed to citizen focused planning in Toronto and in ward 32.

The new Urban Design Guidelines for Queen Street East have strengthened the restrictions on inappropriate development in the beach. This presentation predated the creation and implementation of the guidelines.

The Ashbridges Park Skatepark-Bowl is Almost Ready

The new bowl at the Ashbridges Skatepark is almost finished. Contractors have finished the skate ledges, pathway and the perimeter fence. If the weather holds up, the skate bowl should be finished this year.

The Skate bowl has been poured and is almost ready for use.

New Baseball Diamond in Kew Gardens

Great news, the baseball diamond in Kew Gardens is finished.

New sub-drains have been installed to stop flooding as well as fresh soil and sod. The protective fencing will remain for another month or so until the ground freezes.
